About Radicle Nutrition
Hi, I’m Amy!
I’m a Master Nutritional Therapist, Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Level 3 Restorative Wellness Practitioner. I’m a Washington State native who loves helping others feel their best through personalized nutritional journeys.
I started my own nutritional journey in 2012 when I was diagnosed with gut dysbiosis and an autoimmune disease. I was overwhelmed, desperate for information and healing. I read everything I could and after meeting with countless doctors, found a Naturopathic Doctor who listened and took a different approach to healing. My life was changed!
This experience sparked my love for nutrition and I began to learn how to heal my body through food. In 2015, I enrolled in the University of Colorado. After graduation I went on to the Nutritional Therapy Institute, where I studied holistic nutrition and became a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
I wanted to know more! So in 2017, I continued toward my Master Nutritional Therapist degree. I enjoy the challenge each case presents as we find the root cause and start the healing process.
My radicle nutrition philosophy.
A radicle is part of the plant embryo that develops into the primary root. This is how I see nutrition. Nutrition is the root to good health and my role is to provide you with the knowledge that feeds your body.
Radicle Nutrition is about establishing a strong and healthy body through the balance of REAL food and a conscious lifestyle.
Every person and situation is different which is why your bio-individuality matters! I want to hear your health story and get to the root of your issues. I work with individuals to provide guidance and education to support each person’s unique health intentions.
For example, instead of looking at the digestive, immune, and nervous systems as separate entities, we look at their combined, synergistic effects. If you can digest your food well, you’ll avoid food allergies and sensitivities, absorb more nutrients so you can stay strong and healthy, and make calming neurotransmitters in your gut, the “second brain” that profoundly affects your mood, thoughts, and decisions about ongoing food choices! Every choice we make has a cascading, ripple effect.
